van Ellen + Sheryn nominated for Build-it Awards 2015, for the second year in a row.

In 2014 van Ellen + Sheryn received a national award for the best oak framed house in the UK, from Build-it magazine. In 2015 we were shortlisted again, this time for the best timber framed house for our Hidden House project in Ashburton. Selected from many hundred applications, we attended the presentation at the Tower Bridge Hotel in London, to do battle with the other 5 nominees. Unfortunately on this occasion we were not successful, losing out to a kit builder from Germany. We did however manage to grab a photograph with Hugh Dennis, the compere, before losing ourselves in Covent Garden.
