van Ellen + Sheryn – Build It 2014 Award Winners

van Ellen + Sheryn and Carpenter Oak’s collaboration at West Yard Farm has won the ‘Best Oak Frame Home’ award at the 2014 Build It Awards.

The hand crafted oak and glass framed extension to an existing stone barn provided the client with a large 3 bedroom dwelling in the Dartmoor National Park.

Light and space within the extension act as a counterpoint to the more enclosed rooms within the existing barn structure.

Receiving the award were Ian Phillips of van Ellen + Sheryn and Stuart Voaden of Carpenter Oak
