The large contemporary extension and house refurbishment is located on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, and enjoys a secluded wooded setting with views down into the Teign Valley.
Slim profile windows have been installed, the corner-glazed opening is ready to take the structural glass sliding doors, and the specially-made larch cladding has been painstakingly set out with neatly chamfered corner junctions.
All this, combined with a standing seam metal roof, creates a simple yet contemporary extension to the Georgian house. The house itself is being significantly remodelled internally to allow for new underfloor heating and insulated walls, a large contemporary bathroom, new timber sash windows, and a much-needed new roof.
